In response to the accusations of Democratic voter fraud via ACORN

Very funny, in light of my personal experience in 2004. I had recently moved, and was planning to register my address with the Election Board. However, I was walking down the street one day when some volunteers were out registering new voters. Naturally, I requested a change-of-address form and walked off relieved that I'd avoided the nuisance of going to the Board. A few months later, I went to vote and was shocked when my name wasn't on the list. When I inquired what was going on, I was told to contact the local Board of Elections. I did, and was asked if I had changed my address through a street voter registration drive. When I replied yes, I was asked, "Did you check that you were a registered Democrat?" Again, I said yes. I was then told that, "The Republicans were conducting phony voter registration drives all summer and fall. If you checked Democrat, they dumped your form in the trash." Mind you, this was in New York. I shudder to think what was going on in Florida, or Ohio... Moral of the story: if you registered on the street, make sure you call your local Elections Board and confirm your registration. Especially if you're a Democrat. At any rate, no matter where you stand, you might wanna check out this site called perspctv.com, because it's one of the most unusual ways of gauging public opinion. It takes traditional polls and places them side by side with a new method that tallies references to each candidate in the blogosphere as a way of indicating which one is generating the bigger "buzz". So by this measure--if your trashing your opponent, you're giving him free publicity! I'm sure Obama is deeply indebted to you all. Hehe.
